Re: "Duplicate serials" message – POL hangs up
SVN rev572 + all the linux patches.
Using rev626 yields the same result... If I use a different set of datafiles, however, everything is fine. Which is strange since I copied them from the same Windows environment (both sets of datafiles work perfectly fine under Windows).

Re: "Duplicate serials" message – POL hangs up
Which file is being read when this occurs?
It sounds like the data file(s) became corrupted somehow. Did you make any changes to the data files directly? Did you make any changes to your server immediately prior to this error happening?
If I were having this problem I'd go back and see if I made ...

"Duplicate serials" message – POL hangs up
All of a sudden at the loading POL started throwing this message "Duplicate serials found in data files!" and then filling the screen with dots till eternity. What might be the problem? I have storage and items files that weigh over 50 mb so there's no manual way to find "duplicates"..

Compiled for linux with USE_MYSQL – mysql still doesn't work
Hello,
I successfully compiled pol099 from svn (I used svn rev572 + applied all the patches concerning linux). I used this as a reference to compile it. I run ubuntu 10 (+ I installed libmysqlclient-dev).
I uncommented USE_MYSQL=1 in build file. My buildcore32 looks like this:
#!/bin/bash ...
