Nope, the folder (i think it is the one) is located in: pkg/commands/config/ and it contains only some config files. I have never found any other config folder, that could be suspicious.

ICP logs show a package without config. This "package" i think is a "config" directory in pkg/commands. Instead being interpreted as a config folder for commands package - it is taken as a separate package by ICP:

What methode are you using to connect? I think that pol supports all clients - the only problem is to remove encryption.

Rest seems to be working:) but no worries, as our server is running linux POL, no error will be omitted.

The following errors are small and not causing problems on win32... but as linux systems are case sensitive, it is causing reading errors during POL startup:

And this is sad... see, win2k workstation is much better system than xp, even lacking network bridging as well as native wifi support. XP native wifi suxx anyway, so it is not a big deal... regarding performance and cpu usage, only 2k3 server is better.

Sorry, you got me wrong. POL 096 distro contained tailoring, but in OLD directory, though they were 095 version. In this pkg, backpack that could be produced by a pc crafter, had the same objtype as a backpack at the pc paperdoll. IMO they should differ. This is why i`m asking how does it look like ...

This system would make a computer working fast... but only if it would be working VERY FAST on XP... This means that any NORMAL system (I do not think XP is one) would be working EXTREMELY fast on such machine.

This one seems to work (no error appearing during pol startup), but could someone confirm if it solves the problem? And why did the error appear at all, as :maps:map/method seems to be the correct syntax for script pathname, at least thats what i found in documentation...

No errors are reported during compilation. Using x86 latest pol build - 097 RC2 4 jan and latest distro version. Ecompile version is 1.08.

Positive... i started a clean install: new folder, extracted pol97 rc2 there, downloaded Distro 097 scripts by Tortoise, runned uoconvert, then compiled everythin with supplied ecompile.exe ver 1.08 (used batch starthere.bat, d option with saving log file). Finally, i searched ecompile.log for error ...

I`m using pol-core-097-2007-01-04-RC2-Coregina with official 097 distro scripts (v.1004), clean install.

Compilation is done without any errors, but at startup, i get a following error in console:

Exception caught while loading script pkg/items/maps/:maps:map/method.ecl: Unable to open pkg/items ...

What is the current status for 096 distro? I can see that the last change happened 8 months ago... will there be anything else, or all manpower has been shifted towards 097?
