it seems as tho when you add someone to the party using the game and they respond that they are kinda disconnected from the other players but not from the server?? its really odd also is the statusbar not supposed to have a backing to it? been along time since i played on OSI so im not really sure.
Thanks in advanced GIB

ok 2 problems
1)When you use the party gump to add a player, you click the add button, then click the player then they recieve the message to accept or decline, if they choose either (only cos i havent tested the time out) the player goes into a weird mode when its sort of like hes disconnected from the shard. he can see other players moving, but if he moves himself he isnt updated on other players screens, as to wether or not skills or scripts respond to him i havent checked that either.(this error does not occur when using /add)
2)Once joined into a party the status gump that comes up, is a bunch of bars and buttons, there is no backing on it eg on the normal status bar it has that stone backing. i was just asking is it not supposed to have one or would it be posible for me to add one? and the names dont sit above the bars properly, ill try and get you a screen shot of what my status bars look like.
Thanks again.

ok... ive done some more testing... (btw im trying to convert these files to another shard base) and it seems that problem 1 was just something wrong with my convert... hasnt been fixed yet but ill look into it... if anyone has any idea where i should start that would be appreciated... and problem 2 seems apparent on the pure distro scripts so i presume thats how its meant to be, how ever i now have a problem 3
3)When the party has disbanded members from the party still have the buttons next to their names to allow you to cast spells... the buttons dont work however

Your first problem sounds like the client is being sent the wrong packet and is crashing. If you made modifications to the code, that could be the problem because I don't have that problem when using the add button. Make sure you have the newest version available, which I posted on the forums or you could get an even newer (however, no real difference) from the distro.

The party status bar is suposed to not have a background.
You shouldn't have to convert the scripts. The package is entirely drag and drop (for most people). Make sure you have the newest version...
With the buttons still being on the status bar gump, this is normal. I have not been able to find a better solution, and I don't think one exists. I mention in the readme that if anyone has a UOLog of the OSI party system, I would appreciate it.
