Something strange happening with weight

Here is the issue I've noticed.
According to the big status gump my weight capacity is supposed to be 390 with a strength of 100 but I am unable to carry more than 259. This was an issue with RC3 and still exists in RC5. My backpack container is set to a MaxWeight of 500 and MaxItems of 256. I don't have anywhere close to that many items in my pack.
Is there something I could have set wrong in some config file or is this a bug or perhaps some miscommunication of weight between the server and the client?
