I tried set up POL on few machines with UNIX, and RC5 runs on Gentoo only! It's really bad, because Gentoo isn't used on servers.

But today my friend found a solution. Every version of POL (for Windows) runs pretty well on wine. It's probably only way to run it on most of UNIXs.

It may be too late for you, but FYI I am running the latest core (compiled Sept 01 2008) on Debian Lenny.
