When you are invul for example. The word, [Invulnerable] will appear under your name. How do you get something like [ Newbie ] to appear?

There's no script mechanism to do that. Internally the core appended it to the user's name.

The nearest alternative is to rename the user.

It can be done via single click packethook, just send item/mob name then tag you want underneath it.
