Umm...well I've been on countless free shard pol based...and it simply amazes me..I understand the small stuff such as putting in new ores...yata the simple stuff; if you will, and I really want to get into it and expand my horizon...maybe make someone a good scripter one day...In high school and friend and myself had a shard up and running...3 years later...we can't figure out our internet ip from our host ip[humor] but I can't even seem to get the test shard to load up...I edit the info from config/server.cfg IP, name all that simple trash...even with this in mind, I set my login in my uo folder to ;LoginServer=127.0.0.1;2593 and I still can't manage it...call me stupid but I can't get this anymore and would like to learn...any ideas on where I can 1) learn the scripts a little better 2) get my test shard to come up...I'm running 093 zhs scripts just to get a feel.

It sounds like your problems are fairly simple and I once (and sometimes do) feel the same way as you.

About not getting your server up: Your port looks odd, did you do that on purpose? The default POL port is 5003. I'd need to look at your server configuration and if you have a router with port 5003 forwarded. Feel free to IM me. My AIM name is tekproxy and I'll help you in any way I can.

default pol port was 5003 on the 95 distro i believe but when it comes to zh scripts i believe that they set it to 2593... so nothing that wrong with port, what error msg's does it give you when your trying to set it up, first check pol.cfg and servers.cfg thats about all i can surgest

We got it fixed. Updated his UO client and downloaded POL 095.
