Hello.
Starting with POL Core 98 without any Distro to convert, I created the basics .cfg and scripts files to POL active.
Alright, POL is active now, but when I connect the client and try to create my character appears the next message: "Create Character: A skill number was out of range." In next the client is disconnected.
It's necessary have all scripts about skills?
Can I connect with the client without cmd commmands made?
I hope to create these scripts gradually.

Thanks.

check your uoclient.cfg for MaxSkillID entry
check your attributes.cfg to see if you have them all
check your uoskills.cfg that no value exceeds the max value your client support.

Thanks for your help.
I already tried that, but I didn't found any error in these configs.
Anyway, I got conection in game creating a character in pcs.txt.
Now I'll scripting all commands gradually.

If this problem persist I will explain better my problem.

Could be due to the client version. Which client version are you using?

My Client is 6.0.1.7 version.
But I think my problem is the OnCreate.src. I'm correcting this file now.
Thanks.

It might be a problem with your prof.txt in UO directory. I tested this out last week and if you try setting up higher values in prof.txt to cheat at the creation of your char for skills and stats pol will verify on its side with TotalStatsAtCreation in servspecopt if its out of range.
