Setting up private shard

Hi all,

I used to play on a shard way back in the day (like 10 years ago?) called Rising Sun and later Risunjukara. When it shut down I hard started putting together a private shard similar to that shard but eventually I had other priorities and my computer gave up. I recently got an urge to remake that private shard again but I'n no scripter and I find it was easier to do back in those days with the amound of people doing the same thing... I want to make the shard very basic...

I found POL 094 on an old disc but my Ultima Online CD somehow broke

do I need an old Ultima Online installed or will the new one work with that old POL version?

does anyone know where I can download an old Ultima version other than buying the original disc on eBay?

any help or suggestions are welcome.

I've downloaded the 'setup-1.46.0.3' UO version and tried switching in the 2.0.0 Client and also the 1.26.4 Client but bother gave me the same error message right away= "FontManager::LoadFonts: cannot open 'fonts.mul'."

Is this because this version of UO is too new? I beleive its the 9th Anniversary edition.
Or is it something I am not doing right?

i have sound but no music... is it because this version of UO doesnt have the old midi music file?

Hmmm, I don't know... I hear music from my copy, but the shard that I log into has a custom launcher that might change the music files. I'm running it on Windows XP.
