linux emulation on freebsd

I was thinking that my POL is running on Linux. But admin said that he is using linux emulation on FreeBSD. Im getting lot of pol crashes because of that. Stack backtrace every one, two hours (random scripts):

Anyone know something about POL compatibility on linux emulation? Anyway i can't run freebsd core because im getting error "memory protection fault" or something like that.

no

just to clarify it... we've used many days to get core compiled on freebsd because it was impossible to run linux core @ freebsd in linux-emulation mode. so, why should it work in the other direction?

? which freebsd does he use? it was build on an official freebsd 6.1

Head admin is saying that it's linux "slackware current".

why? it's just another distribution. the kernel looks similar:

Core-building-machine: Linux pergon 2.6.17-gentoo-r8 #4 SMP Thu Nov 9 18:34:05 CET 2006 i686 Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.40GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux

Not sure if I've given u or someone else a newer subbuild. we'll fire another build within next days containing lot of gcc-fixes (it's build on 4.1.1 now). these release runs fine on a live-shard for many days now.
