Overwrite player movement and move player with npc commands?

You can do this by simply paralyzing or freezing the char. Then create a means to move them.

I actually like this idea but I think it would be tough to program into the core. It would make scripting such things as Fear, a spell cast by NPCs on World of Warcraft, easier. Fear causes players to run in random directions when it is cast on them.

As I said I like it but alas it probably can't be done in the core.

I remember seeing a packet where you'd send like 10 xyz coords... Apparently it moved the character to those coords


Though I could be really wrong and dreamed that shit up :D

Beh... I can move player anywhere by script but not with movement graphic.... but in effect I can command graphic actions... or I am wrong?
