I would say in almost any versions of scripts that you'd need to add an entry for it in itemdesc.cfg with the color, graphic, and name mostly (just look up another ore and copy that with modifications) then you'd have to add it to mining or loot or add something somewhere that creates it so you have a way for players to get it. Then lastly, if you want it to create items with, you'd have to add that as a resource you can use to your crafting scripts.

I have some of those old tutorials but they are from the POL 94 days. The scripts haven't changed much but some of the ore names have so they could be confusing. I could post them here. Understand I didn't write them so I don't provide support for the tutorials.

Let me know. Also, the tuts don't explain how to add effects and elemental damage to the ores either. Just how to get them into the ore resource system so they are minable and smeltable.

Muad has alot of these tutorials on his website also. You might want to check that out at http://www.lostsoulsshard.org under the guides section.

I have found those tutorails very useful.

I defer to Maud's if he has them for ores and stuff.

He's the best!

Go check his site out. He has a lot of good stuff there. Thanks Tritan. I forgot about his tutorials.
