Nice to meet everyone.

I noticed there isn't much on linux- running centos 6; the documentation is kinda all over the place, and after three days of trying - off and on - I think I may have the answer to installing everything.

Create server directory. Mkdir mul. Drop client files into folder.


1) Download Core 0.95.
2) Download latest core. Overwrite everything.
3) Download latest distro.
4) Download every core chronologically; overwrite everything.
5) Download current WINDOWS distro to fix BOATS.cfg. It's not packaged in linux distro. Overwrite everything.

./StartHere.sh. Do everything
./uoconvert.
./StartHere.sh again just to make sure.


Everything seems to run; cpu usage is at 99% or so...not sure why, gonna look into it some. There's not a chance it's the server; too fast, too big a pipe.

Then onto fixing this:


Error in package runebook (pkg/items/runeBook/):
Package by same name already found in runebook (pkg/items/runebook/)
Server Shutdown: load_packages

-- rm -rf /root/dest/pkg/items/runebook(NOT runeBook!)*.*

-- rn -rf /pol/pkg/items/wands/*.*

--rm -rf /pkg/systems]# rm -rf itemutils

basically go through list and remove duplicates.

it would not work.
Use last 099 core

I basically overwrote everything. Using the plain .99 core/ distro doesnt do shit. Too tired to go into details; sorry lol

Get this error when compiling scripts:

I'm using a fresh install core/distro .99. Same error I've been getting; followed this post to a T :http://forums.polserver.com/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=5123

Anyone have this issue?
